Speech Therapy

A speech therapy evaluation will be completed to determine current skill level. Goals will then be established based on the results of the evaluation and your concerns. Therapy sessions will be individualized for each client to focus on the acquisition of these skills using evidenced-based approaches.

Social Clubs

Social clubs are offered for kids and young adults to practice social communication skills in small peer groups. During each session, activities that encourage socialization will be selected based on the shared interests of the group (examples include boardgames, videogames, and crafts). A speech therapist will be present to support the groups’ needs such as helping to encourage participation and assisting in overcoming any communication difficulties.

  • Club sessions will take place at Cary Library.
